You have to choose the college according to your rank.

You will get a advantage of home state quota. You will get a home state quota of the state from where you have completed your 11th and 12th class.

In NIT colleges, admission will be on the basis of JEE Main ranks, 75% marks or top 20 percentile in class XII boards.
