nit Srinagar hostel facilities?

In NIT srinagar if we consider upon intake capacity then they have sufficient arrangements and importantly they have seperate hostel blocks. And especially for seniors they have seperate hostel block . Further i will suggest you to visit to the hostel once to know more clearly about it .

Due to some vacant seats the total strength is about 22002300 out of which 1800 stay in the hostels.
2 new prefabricated hostels are built with a capacity of 300 students.
Condition of hostels is average, new prefabricated and jhelum hostel are having LAN facility for every student. Other hostels have WiFi connection with good speed (only jhelum hostel has 10MBps others just 23MBps).
Yes, some hostel rooms and corridors are really shabby but maintenance is happening to those areas and will be taken care of.
Apart from these things, you are going to miss many things if you want to carry out that Delhi college's lifestyle here because there is no theatre in the whole Kashmir , you will suffer for good and less expensive veg food. And almost no street food in college's vicinity.
