In terms of actual infrastructure or faculty, honestly there is no difference between NIT Suratkal and Warangal. All I have seen is, people from each state supporting their respective NITs. All the other things being equal, Suratkal is a great place for the location of college. Right next to the beach. Anything to match that. Of course beach has its disadvantages - humid weather and theoretical risk of tsunami . And between the two I would bet Suratkal having better food.
