At a Rank where you get Physics at IIT Bombay, you also get Electrical at IIT Kanpur or maybe ECE at IIT Kharagpur, MnC at IIT Guwahati as well as CSE Dual at IIT BHU, Mechanical at IIT Delhi. I genuinely believe these options are much better with respect to Faculty, Curriculum, Infrastructure and Placements than going after NIT Warangal CSE. But Unless youre genuinely interested in Research or Physics, dont go after Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay. Most Engineering Physics Students, either go after Research Careers with a MS/PhD in US or maybe Prepare for Software, Finance Roles in Placements. Engineering Physics has comparatively lesser Placement Prospects in India as well. Instead if youre obsessed about IIT Bombay, you may take Chemical or Mechanical Dual for better Placement Prospects. Secondly Engineering Physics after Electrical is undoubtedly is the Toughest Branch across Curriculums in IITs, hence it is not at all student friendly and doesnt have a relaxed and structured Curriculum.
