As per your mentioned query no, there is no such admission given on the basis of your 12 marks . The only way to take admission in NIT is through JEE MAINS .
NIT Surathkal offers full-time four-year BTech programme in nine different disciplines of Engineering. NITK BTech admission is done basis JEE Main score followed by JoSAA counselling.
