There are about 8,000 MBBS seats and 2,873 seats in BDS program in the state of Tamil Nadu. Directorate of Medical Education(DME), Tamil Nadu is the supreme authority for conducting admission into the MBBS and BDS seats for 100% private seats and 85% state quota seats.
