Honestly, if you're talking about scope and salary then I feel it is CSE. There are a hell number of opportunities related to this. Ethical Hacking, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and many, many more. I used to initially think, CSE was all about coding but within a year of joining college I have discovered the umpteen number of opportunities and branches that the stream has to offer, some related to coding and some not.

However, don't take the stream up if you have zero interest in the subject. Survival then would become really difficult.

Now I think you know that it's the age of automation.So demand of ece and ee students is very high.But every dept has it's own importance,demand.You can study from any dept if you are good in your studies then you will surely get a job with high paying salary.

That's is most asked question. And the answer to it is same as always. You don't chose your field by statistics like more income field or more scope. Every engineering field has its own importance and most importantly it all depends on your interest. Whether you are more interested in logical reasoning then CSE electrical and civil and chemical if physics and chemical related interests.

So I say that you look at your interest, don't just chose because this will give me high paying job, it won't. If you do good in what you do company will definitely pay you high.

no one can declare which branch has more scope and for earning more income,it is completely based on the field/branch what you are interested in!

see now a days CSE has a good name rather than Chemical,Biotech or others.But if you excel in a good way in your selected field and the field you are interested in,then easily you can make good money!I'm not saying that CSE is best,if you're interested in Biotech and excel in a good way then you can obvioulsy make good money.It is completely based on how you learn the selected field that's it.

In engineering no branch/field is greater than other branch/field,all have equal importance!

Now there is a scope more jobs in civil engineering sector.Followed by food technology.
