Ragging in education well sphere government has taken some useful steps by  formation of anti roudi and anti ragging squad to visit the place of ragging like hostels and campuses regularly. In every professional  Technical Institute like Sikkim NIT also to some extent has a bad name in ragging. Ragging in Sikkim energy authority with the help of government administration has formed anti ragging squad with visited regularly at a time of interval . The junior and senior hostel has been separated from each other protecting them by keep watching guards all the times. Taking stern action incidence.of ragging  has been reduced mostly.
