Yes, now you can apply for B.tech in Amrita School of Engineering. Here are the following details related to admission:
Mode of admission – AEEE / JEE
AEEE 2019: Choose Examination Center, Date and Slot
JEE (Mains): Enter the details as in JEE scorecard
Eligibility:
Age: Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998.
Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.
Important dates:
April 22, 24, 25 & 26: CBT in 3 Slots Each of 2.5 hrs Duration
April 27, 2019: Pen & Paper Test in One Slot of 2.5 hrs Duration (10:00 to 12:30 hrs)
A CBT will be conducted on the 7th of May for those B.Tech applicants who were not able to attend AEEE 2019 (CBT & PPT) conducted from 22nd to 27th of April. Only those applicants in the below category, who have already registered in the application portal can appear for this CBT to be held in selected cities.
- Those who have already applied for JEE ONLY (up to April 26) and wish to appear for AEEE may apply to attend this CBT by paying Rs.700/-.
- Those who have applied for AEEE and booked the slot; but couldn’t appear.
- Those who were not able to book the slot for AEEE.
Registration for AEEE 2019 Phase 2 closes by May 2, 05:00 PM.
Admit Card can be downloaded on the May 3rd (05:00 PM)
May 13, 2019: Publication of AEEE Results. Counselling will also start along with it.
May 15, 2019: Last Date to Apply for JEE candidates
May 20, 2019: Last Date to Pay the Fees for Candidates Satisfied with the First Allotment.
May 25, 2019: Second Allotment
May 30, 2019: Last Date to Pay the Fees for Candidates Satisfied with the Branches in the Second Allotment
June 5, 2019: Third Allotment
June 10, 2019: Last date to pay the fees for candidates satisfied with the branches allotted in the third allotment. Candidates shall update their +2 marks in the application portal before June 10th.
June 15 - 25, 2019: Verification of documents & filling the vacant seats. Candidates who have paid the fees shall produce the qualifying examination documents in original in order to complete the admission requirements. Candidates are required to appear at the campus as per the allotment.
Counselling process: Counselling is fully online. You will be offered admission to an academic programme based on your academic preferences and based on All India Ranks of JEE (Mains) – 2019 or based on the rank secured in AEEE 2019, as preferred by the candidate, through a common Seat Allocation Process for all the five engineering campuses.
