Hey!
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) is a national level medical entrance examination . Admission into the 15% All India Quota Seats and 85% state Quota Seats will be done through NEET whereas Karnataka CET is the combined entrance examination of the state of karnataka . No medical admissions will sone through Karnataka CET as per the directive of the Supreme Court of India . All Medical admissions will be done on the basis of NEET Scores . Counselling will be held by the states for granting admission into the 85% State Quota Seats . No states will be conducting their own entrance examination.
Talking about maximum score that you should score to get admission in medical college so your score should be above 630 which is a safe score as you have your boards also so you can do this that try to make your 12 portion strong by solving the MCQS and previous years questions , you can also join test series of any known Institute when you are done with your boards , also maintain a time table with you in that just try to adjust your time in which you take 1 topic daily from your 11 part .... As as you asked about the 12% so for your exam you only need 50% in your+2 which is sufficient but don't ignore just work hard accordingly you will succeed for sure ...
May this will help you...

Hello,

To answer your question, now there is only one test i.e NEET. But even earlier let it be NEET or CET they didn't consider your 12th standard marks in any of them. You just have to get 50% marks just to be eligible to give the test. They even provide 10% relaxation for SC, ST & OBC candidates.

But starting from this year the only way to get into an MBBS seat is to attend only NEET . From the year 2020; NTA is going to conduct NEET and all medical seats will be filled through this exam only. And they are going to follow the same rules.

So, if you want to get into a nice medical college; you should worry more about your entrance test preparation then the board exams. But you must not ignore your 12th standard. You know how it works, the more you study , it gets more better for you

Greetings and all the best!
