Here are the list of eligibility criteria for the JEE Mains examination-

1. Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% marks or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam (65% for SC/ST candidates).

2. He/She must have passed their class 12 exam in 2020 or 2021. Three consecutive attempts are allowed for JEE Main 2022 examination.

3. Studentss should have secured a minimum qualifying score.

4. Candidatess should have taken at least 5 subjects for the class 12 or qualifying exam (Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics mandatory).

Yes definitely you will be eligible for JEE-Main 2022 as you will be appearing for class 12th exams in 2022 but kindly note that there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from any of the recognized central or state board.

3---   Year of qualification   :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who are appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, are eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
