Basic eligibility for SSC CHSL examination is class 12th passed and you must have crossed 18 years of age. If we go through the detailed eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL then it says that :-

** the candidate should have passed class 12th.

** the candidate should be 18-27 years old until and unless he/she belongs to any of the reserved category because age relaxations will be there according to different categories.

** The candidate should not have any major disability but with some disabilities candidate can apply for SSC CHSL exam.
