The age limit to appear for NDA is 16.5 year to 19.5 years. And the education qualification requirement is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board to join in Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Indian Airforce Academy. Candidates passing in 10+2 in any stream are eligible to join Indian Military Academy. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NDA.

Considering the eligibility criteria you will be eligible to appear for NDA 1 2023, NDA 2 2023 and NDA 1 2024. So you will have 3 attempts to appear for NDA after passing in the qualifying examination.

Here are the age eligibility criteria for NDA Exam:

Minimum Age- 15.7 years (not later than 1st January 2006)/ 16 years during the commencement of course

Maximum Age- 18.7 years (not earlier than 2nd January 2003)/ 19 years during the commencement of course

Therefore, by August 2021, you are 16 years old hence, will be eligible for the NDA exam going to be held in 2022.
