Now i am studying PUC course am i eligible for ro write coming exam? and what is the criteria for selecting eligible students from PUC course .As it can be tough to get minimum 75 percent in MPC subjects in this course.
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned the name of examination for which you are seeking information so it is little bit difficult for us to guide you accurately but if we go through your profile then it shows that you are an engineering aspirant so you might be interested in JEE-Main, if not then please mention the correct name of examination in the comment section below.
Now let me make you clear that there is no percentage criteria to appear for JEE-Main so even if you are unable to secure minimum 75% marks in your PUC then also you can appear for JEE-Main, but there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

But note that for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs you need at least 75% in your PUC 2nd year as per the general eligibility criteria but as we all know that this percentage criteria is currently on hold due to the current pandemic so for now it is not active and hence you are also eligible for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs based on your JEE-Main score, until and unless the criteria gets restored.
