Hii sindhu,

To study petroleum engineering you must have:-

  • Minimum aggregate marks as 60% in Class XII with subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

You can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Petroleum Engineering.

Before going to btech in petroleum chemistry i think that maths , chemistry and physics are essential and knowledge of topics like  calculus , algebra ,calculus etc is important. You should also focus on the concepts. Conceptual knowledge will give you an extra edge.
