While the general criteria remain the same like the Candidate should be 17 years old atleast by December 31st of year of admission, minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th or equivalent exam. Now under NRI category, you can attend counselling under All India Counselling and at State level Counselling, there are NRI seats in Private Medical Colleges. The eligibility guidelines for State level counselling depend on the State Counselling that you plan on appearing for. MCC is yet to release any specific guidelines for NR Students this year. But ideally there should be a letter from a NRI Sponsor that he'/she is willing to sponsor the Candidate's fees for the entire duration of the course. There are some documents to be procured from the Embassy. More or less, the procedure remains the same.
Hi Fatema!
The NRI candidate can only get a seat through NRI Quota in Medical Colleges by qualifying in the entrance examination. ( that is currently the NEET examination.)
Admissions take place on the basis of the marks.
NRI is falling under the 15% category with management quota.
Hope this Helped!
