Hello aspirant! Based on NIRF rankings, IIT Delhi is ranked second and is far better and world-widely known when compared with Netaji Subhash University, which is ranked 76. Getting a seat in IIT Delhi is a great opportunity that it's not that pleasant to reject it. IIT Delhi offers highly efficient research and work labs for academic purposes. The faculties are highly experienced in their respective fields, and are one of top professors of the nation. NSUT also provides good facility and is a renowned university in Delhi, but IIT Delhi weighs more.

Which course is difficult depends on an individual's perspective. A person who is interested in dealing with Machine language and software, would feel CS to be easy while a person who is interested in automated production and problem solving, would feel Electrical Engineering in Power and Automation to be easy. Syllabus-wise Electrical Engineering in Power and Automation is vast but not difficult.

Getting a more paying job not only depends on the institution but also on your overall academic performance and skills. In both sectors, a highly talented and well efficient graduate with good communication, leadership and creative thinking skills is paid enormously.

Taking placement into account, CS graduates are in high demand as of now . The annual salary for a CS student who passed out from NSUT ranges from 4 lakhs to 1.25 crores per annum (as of 2019).

For a long career , you can opt for Electrical Engineering in Power and Automation and it is one of the rarest courses in India. IIT Delhi has top placements of over 85.6% students placed in about 450 companies(over 950 offers) in 2019-2020 with an average package of 16 lakhs per annum and highest of 1 crore per annum. In 2019, graduates were placed more in core jobs when compared to software jobs.

Putting all the pieces of the puzzle together, I would consider Electrical Engineering in Power and Automation at IIT Delhi as more valuable, but the choice is yours.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hello, as you have mentioned you have interest in both branches so that's a good thing.
But I would recommend you to go with IIT Delhi because studying from a IIT is always a big thing , IIT Delhi comes under top IIT of India.

CS branch has lots of opportunities for placements and Both branches have different syllabus and subjects so it's depends on person to person for difficultly level of branch.

If you have interest in coding, are able to solve complex algorithms you should go for CS branch.

Otherwise IIT Delhi is best among both colleges and you will have a great opportunity for placements and new skills in it.

All the best. Hope this will help you.
