IIT Kharagpur- Ocean Engineering:
- Placement percentage: around 100%
- Highest package : 24.5 Lakh
- Average package: 11.5 Lakh
- NIRF Ranking: 3
IIT Dharwad- Mechanical Engineering:
- Placement percentage: 60-70%
- Highest package: 40 Lakh
- Average package: 9 Lakh
- NIRF Ranking: 23
When we look at placement statistics of both Institute, IIT Kharagpur seems better choice than IIT Dharwad. IIT Kharagpur has way higher rankings both in NIRF or Global rankings when it compared to IIT Dharwad. IIT Kharagpur is also one of the most prestigious Institution of India.
