Hello Sreelal!
I think you are pointing directly towards oceanography . Good to know you have interest in that amazing field. A graduate cannot directly get jobs realted to oceanography like that. Certain educational qualifications are demanded for such profession.
Well I am not aware about your undergraduate much as you have not stated any information. But I will try my best to explain this. You have said that you are a graduate any way. If you hold a B.Sc. degree in Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Fishery Science / Earth Science / Physics / Agriculture / Microbiology / Applied Sciences or in any other equivalent disciplines, then you can go into this field. There are some good colleges that offer postgraduate course in Oceanography or Marine Biology. If you hold a B.Tech degree, go for MTech in Oceanography or Marine Biology and sometimes a GATE score is essential for admission to this program. A Ph.D is generally required if you expect better job prospects.
A professional in Oceanography can also be recruited as an Environmental Scientist, Geo-desist, Geographer, Geologist, Geophysicist, Hydrographer, Oceanographer or mining engineer at various govt and private organizations in India and abroad.
A fresher can earn a monthly salary between Rs 8,000 – Rs 12, 000 in public sector. The salary is slightly higher in the private sector. With a Ph.D., one can earn more than Rs 15, 000 per month. The salary shoots up in foreign countries. Countries like US, UK, France offer pay between $50,000 and $80,000 a year depending upon your qualification.
Hope I could help you!
