Correct Answer: 25,000
Solution : Let the marked price of brand A be Rs. $x$ and it is given that the marked price of brand B is Rs. 35,000. Discounted price of brand A = $0.75x$ And discounted price of brand B = $0.6 \times 35000$ Now, according to the given condition, Price of B after discount = Price of A after discount + 2250 ⇒ $0.6\times35000=0.75x + 2250$ ⇒ $0.75x = 21000 - 2250$ ⇒ $0.75x = 18750$ ⇒ $ x = 25000$ So, the marked price of brand A is Rs. 25,000. Hence, the correct answer is 25,000.
