Hello,
Sastra University prepares a merit list for the students on the basis of score in JEE mains and boards. This is for Stream 1. To get a seat in CSE for general category, your rank in the merit list must be less than 500.
For stream 2, you must should have secured more than 95% in +2 boards to get a seat.
Please note that 70% of the seats are filled through stream 1. The merit list is prepared by taking 75% of boards +2 marks and 25% to JEE mains score.
Rest 30% seats are filled through stream 2.
Hope it helps
