Hi there,

Sorry, you can't apply only on the basis of JEE main. JEE advance is important and compulsory to get admission in IITs

No you can't take admission in IIT through the JEE Main you have to give the JEE advance. The JEE is compulsory for admission in IITs. Thank you.

Admission in any of the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) can only be taken on the basis of JEE Advance. The institute doesn't provide any admission on the basis of JEE Mains.

i got 79 percentile so can i get addmission in any of the nit

It will be difficult to get admission in NIT (National Institute of Technology) with 79 percentile but now I cannot be completely sure about it as it will also depend upon number of students appearing for JEE Mains in April. You have an option to give JEE Mains again in April to have a chance to improve percentile.
