During the entire TNEA counselling process your seats will be allotted to you on the basis of the following factors:
- The TNEA rank you secured in the examination
- The total number of seats in the college of your preference
- The number of colleges participating in TNEA
- The order of your choice filling if filled according to your first preference at the top and so forth
- Your category ( General, Pwd, SC/ST etc)
- Minimum eligibility requirements met
