Hope you are doing well these days, as far as I have studied about this topic ,
Galvanometer is a device that is used to measure or detect small amount of current.A current carrying coil placed in a magnetic field develops a torque and rotates. As per torque=NIABSIN(theta)
Where,.
N=no.of turns
I=current
A=area of coil
B=magnetic field
theta =the angle at which coil rotates.
