once I have given jee mains exam in 2020 and 2021 now I am studying in class 12th again can I give jee mains papers in 2023

With reference to your above said query, it seems that you have appeared again in class 12th . So, if you have already given JEE mains exam in 2020 and 2021, then you are only allowed to appear in the year 2022 to give again JEE mains and not in 2023.

The Eligibility criteria for JEE mains 2022 candidates is as follows :

Qualifying exam -

• Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.

• Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.

Age Limit - No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam. Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam.

Total number of attempts -

• Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.

Subjects -

• B.E/B.Tech: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).

• B.Arch: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

• B.Plan: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.

So, according to the above eligibility criteria you are only allowed to appear thrice in JEE attempt. So, the only year you can apply again is 2022.

It seems that you had appeared for class 12th in 2020 for very first time, according to which you are only eligible for JEE-Main 2020, 2021 and 2022. Even if you are repeating class 12th, then also the eligibility is considered from very first attempt of class 12th. So now you are only eligible for JEE-Main 2022 not 2023.

Also there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
