One of my bestie wants to leave his b.sc mathematics when his 1st semester is about to end and wants to switch to some professional course?

This would depend on a few factors. First factor would be why he is leaving. So, ask him his reason and if he says that he can’t handle this course or isn’t interested anymore it would be better to switch. And the second factor would be which professional course he is going to choose over B. Sc Mathematics. So, ask him these two and based on his answer try to give him advice.
