Hello there ,
It's definitely not true in all cases because of total variation in Patten of both papers.
The board exams are subjective in nature where as jee is objective.
Board exams along with correct answer demands creativity of expression of the answer which usually leads to more marks where as in jee you only need to get correct answer , irrespective of the method.
