Hello Shivam!
When it comes to placements trends change depending upon the college, year, demand in industry, number of graduates etc. However, on a general note here are the list of branches with placement records in descending order:
For branches like CSE, IT it all depends upon demand in the industry. If software industry crashes then people who are hired too will be removed. Coming to ECE, it has an additional advantage that you can easily apply for both hardware or software based company. For branches like biotech, IP and environmental engineering, placements are very fewer. Civil and mechanical are kinda fluctuating. Finding job offcampus for mechanical graduates is really very challenging.
When you are choosing branch choose according to your interest. Because at the end of the day, it depends on your understanding and performance.
There is no particular order and will not be...you can be a greek in any department you choose.
Its all based on intrest...but from my side some of them are:-
1. Computer science and engineering
2. Electronics and communication Engineering
3. Electronics and Electrical Engineering
4. Mechanical engineering/ Civil engineering
5. Aeronautical Engineering.
And etc.
