Placements : The placements of Osmania University are the best. Last year, 80% of the students got placed in the college placements. The top most companies visit Osmania University to hire students. Companies offer very high salary packages.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of Osmania University College of Engineering is old, but it is not much bad. Many infrastructural facilities are provided to students, and there is a separate building for the first year students. There is a separate building for every branch from the 2nd year onwards.

Faculty : If we talk about the faculty members of Osmania University College of Engineering, they are the best among all the engineering colleges. They are well-knowledged, and their way of teaching is also very understandable. All of them are well-experienced and teach in such a way that every student will be able to understand the concepts.

Other : Several events, fests, etc., are organised in Osmania in which a student can participate and gain communication skills. The college is very wide and peaceful where one can be free to explore their ideas. The college offers several scholarships.

Osmania University is fully government funded university established in year 1918, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious university in India. Many of the eminent personalities like Harsha Bhogle, ex PM P.V. Narimsha Rao, and current CM of Andra Pradesh K. Chandrashekar Rao are alumnus of this prestigious university.



Osmania Univeristy has 8 colleges inside the campus,among which University College of Engineering and University College of Technology, runs M.Tech program. These are the colleges which are good for M.tech.



There are many of the

engineering colleges in Telangana State are also affiliated to Osmania

University. Try to get admission into colleges inside the university

center itself like University College of Engineering. These are the one with the better facilities and faculty

NIRF ranking is measure established by MHRD, Government of India to rank institues in India on various parameters. Osmania Univeristy is ranked 46 in overall rankings and for engineering colleges University college of engineering is ranked 80. 2. Location:



With the current developement, upcoming IT parks and industial areas, Hyderabad is the hottest location for job seekers in India after Banglore. Although Banglore is already a established city, Hyderabad is continuously expanding. It is cheaper, safer and quality of living is better. So, incase you are not from down south you will not loose anything coming to this place for masters, and with upcoming development projects, you can easily beg a job in hyderabad.



3. Research Facilities:



Being an old institute, Osmania University house good research facilities in all the branches of Engineering it offers course. Even if you are not interested in further research at Osmania, you can still opt for placement. Now for placements there are two ways:

• Alumni Connect:    Most of the alumni of Osmania University are already working at good places. You can always connect to them while you are studying in univeristy. They can help you if they have a place vacent in their company.
• Placements and Training Office: University college of Engineering, Osmania University already have a system in place for esnuring placements. It is called Placements and Training Office. You have to register to it throught the link  https://oucecareers.org/ and provide all the details about yourself. Once that is done you are eligible for placements through the university. You will be sent mails regarding all the avaiable placement opportunities. However there is no record of highest and average packages about the placements on internet, but you can still expect decent placements from here.
