Operation Theatre Technology is a sub-discipline of paramedical science that deals with many aspects of surgery conducted in the operating room.  In the field of Operation Theatre Technology, colleges and universities offer a variety of diploma and degree programmes. The undergraduate programme lasts three years, the postgraduate programme lasts three years, and the diploma programme lasts two years.

Aspirants must have completed class 12th from a recognized college or institute to be eligible. It is required to achieve a minimum of 50% in the 12th grade. Candidates should have a scientific background.
