Dear aspirant, there are certain eligibility criteria for appearing in the GUJCET examination especially related to domicile issues. A candidate taking the GUJCET examination must have domicile of the Gujarat state or must have passed his/her 12th board or equivalent from a recognised institute situated in Gujrat state. Their parents should also belong to the state of Gujrat or for candidates whose parents are from outside Gujrat must be working there at the time of admission.

No Dear other state students cannot apply for btech engineering colleges for Gujarat. You can only give the GUJCET exam if you are a resident of Gujarat as at the time of form filling your domicile and other documents will be asked.

The state eligiblity for gucet exam is as follows :

Stateate Eligibility – The candidate must be a resident of Gujarat. If the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, in such cases also the candidate is eligible to appear in the exam.

so other state candidate are only eligiblile if they are Bonafide resident of Gujarat but live in other state.
