As of the latest guidelines, candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh (UP) are generally not eligible for the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) quota benefits in the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC). The EWS reservation benefits in UPTAC are typically available only to candidates who are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
