If by package, i think by package you mean the placements offered by the college JNTU, Hyderabad, so basically the college offers 96% placements . There are almost 70-80 companies that visit the campus for placements, and guarantee placements to all the branches. The jobs are mainly divided into 2 types: 1. Dream jobs that come with packages greater than 4LPA 2. Non Dream jobs that come with packages less than 4LPA. Now what kind of job you will get, depends totally on your own merits.

Coming to JNTU,on an average 70-80 companies visit campus every of placements.

The jobs are divided into two types. a) Dream. b) Non-dream, with dream being packages above 4lpa. Under this dream package, there’s also ‘core’ companies. Basically, you aren’t allowed to sit further in placements, if you get placed in dream company.

Now, let me tell you, we get placements in every field including IT, Management, Analysis etc. The lowest package will be of the mass-recs(TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc) and they offer a compensation of 3–3.2lpa. The highest package varies from 10–14lpa(includes Google, Microsoft and/or any new startups).
