Solution : The first option is correct.

The initial part of the sentence is in the past tense (I managed) , so the subsequent action should also be in the past tense. Therefore, move should be changed to moved to ensure proper verb agreement with the earlier part of the sentence.

The corrected sentence should be: " Luckily, I managed to get a room in the college hostel, and I moved in there ."
