Dear Darshan,

The money you are about to invest in PDPU is not solely for placement but also for your entire Bachelor's degree program that includes studying about the course and applications in real life. Coming to Placements in PDPU if sources are to be believed, a student from PDPU who is yet to graduate has not been placed yet.

Most of us assume that like many Engineering colleges the highest number of placement is bagged by Computer science but PDPU stands as an exception in this case. Highest number of placed students in PDPU  are from Petroleum Engineering.

(Information and Communication Technology) ICT batch of PDPU which is yet to be passout in 2020. Hence there is no batch placed yet. Although when you will be taking admission it will be the fifth batch(your) and hence you shouldn't worry about the placements.

But considering the placements record of other branches it is very much expect that the placement will be definitely worth the fees of the university.

Hi Darshan,

The Computer Science branch in Pandit Deendyal Petroleum University was started in 2016 and CS engineering takes 4 year for completion and the placement comes on the 4th year so the final placements are not done yet.And the official data is not released by the university till now.

Placement for the other branches are good as the highest package is around 18 lpa and the average package is around 5 lpa.

The Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University offers Bachelor of Technology programme in Computer Science over a period of four years. The department of Computer Science Engineering had it's inception in 2016 and the first batch is yet to pass out. Therefore placements are yet to begin for the students. However the college has a history of quality placements over the past few years of operations with top companies recruiting students with lucrative salary packages.

As per previous records and reviews of the college, companies like Helwett Placard, Infosys, TATA Chemicals Limited, Larson And Toubro, Reliance Industries Limited and Adani Group visit the campus for recruiting students every placement season. Around 90% of the students get placed with salary packages ranging from an average of INR 5 Lakhs per annum to figures as high as INR 12 Lakhs per annum.
