The following comparison is based on a bunch of reviews on both the colleges by the students of the respective colleges:

PDPU :

Placements : In year 2017, 14 out of 45 got placement in the core companies. No GD and PI training sessions provided. The highest package offered was 6 lakhs and the average was between 3.5 to 4 lakhs. During 2016, only mechanical and electrical students got 80% placements, while civil, chemical and industrial and petroleum streams had very bad placements.

Infrastructure : This is what they are strong at, as they have a very good infrastructure which attracts the students to take admission. They have centralised air-conditioning in the classrooms, and the hostel is good if you can take in UG hostel. They have WiFi as well as a LAN connection in the hostel. Mess is good along with snacks. The library is bad as it does not have good books. The sports are good but there is a lot of politics. The hostel life is very good with TV, the Internet and cold water facilities,

Faculty : Some of the teachers are good in teaching, but most of them come into class just to give lecture like if they have no interest if the student is learning something or not. Although some teachers cooperates with you and helps you in understanding concepts.

Manipal:

Faculty: Here professors treat you as their own children and really want your progress. They will try to motivate you and at the same time they will give you the best, what they can. If you have keen interest in the field of Information Technology and want to go for higher studies this college is good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructue of this college is also good. In hostel, there is 24x7 internet connection, hot water supply, water coolers on each floor, common rooms with TVs, Indoor games, etc.

Placements: In 2017, the average salary package for CSE was around 4.5 lakhs. Companies such as Aamazon, Dell, HP, TCS, Infosys and many more came to provide placements.

Hey Smit,

According to your question you should prefer to go with PDPU, gandhingar because its too difficult to get sdmission in pdpu and you will definitely get an atmosphere os study with nice faculties and placements of Pdpu is great and this college comes under top 10 in allover gujarat. Best of luck for your future.

Thank you.
