PGCET is the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. It is a state level entrance exam conducted for PG admissions. PGCET is conducted as a pathway for admissions to MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and March courses.
PGCET notification and the application form will be released by May 2019 and the exam is due to be conducted in June 2019.
Students who wish to pursue ME, Mtech, MArch and who have a valid GATE score are not required to sit for the entrance.
PGCET is conducted in a paper-pencil format. Currently, it is not conducted online. Candidates clearing the entrance examination are eligible to sit for admissions in different University Departments and Government aided as well as private institutions in Karnataka.

The entrance test is held offline in July 2019. Karnataka PGCET will be held for 150 minutes in multiple sessions separately for different courses. The test carries total of 100 marks.
