Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharma. D) is a doctorate leval program of 6 years in Pharmacy. 5 years of Academic studies and 1 year of clinical training & internship. It is slightly different from B.Pharma and M.Pharma.
After Pharma.D, you can work as a Pharmacist, Drug Expert, Retail Pharmacist, Hospital Pharmacy Director etc.
While, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) is an undergraduate leval program which is designed in such a way that it makes student familiar with an integrated concept of Modern Medical Sciences and Ayurveda. Duration of course is 5.5 years, including 4.5 years of study and 1 year of compulsory internship.
After BAMS, one can practice as an Ayurvedic physician in India or can further persue MD and Ph.D courses in Ayurveda.
Foreign countries are less familiar with Ayurveda, so you will suffer to settle in foreign countries.
While, Pharma.D has advantages over BAMS in terms of Work opportunities in Abroad. Pharma.D is an widely known degree and have better work opportunities in countries like UK, USA, Australia etc.
Both are good courses and have a bright scope. Whatever you will choose, you have to work hard to become successful.
