Pharm D refers to Doctor of pharmacy. It is a professional program and is for a span of 6 years after class 12. It includes 5 years of academic study and one year of internship.

EAMCET is necessary if you are hoping to get an admission in a Government College. Qualifying the exam opens the door for counselling. Certain colleges even have their own entrance exams, so you may go for them too.

Pharm D gives the students a more exposure to the clinical field of pharmacy. It is extremely detailed and well integrated. It makes the students professionally qualified to dispense and prepare the drugs.

You can Pursue a Phd after Pharm D and enter into the Research Field.

B. Pharm is  4 Year course, and is related with drug manufacturing, quality control and assurance and also drug discovery. It is more research oriented.

However, if you are interested   in researching and you are looking forward to work in pharmaceuticals, drugs and biotech industries, then B. Pharm is a better option. You may go for Masters in future after B. Pharm
