Diploma in pharmacy is a two year long career oriented course and the students who want to pursue this course can learn various things regarding Pharmaceutical Sciences and this program is designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licenced pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies and other Pharmaceutical related fields.
D pharmacy admission process for most of the colleges is done on the ranks obtained in a university or a state level entrance examinations which includes SPPSPTM, GUJCET, UPSEE, MHCET etc. The admissions in various colleges depends upon that college that whether they are admitting students on the basis of merit or they are taking any state level entrance examination or university level entrance examination for the admission of students.
The minimum eligibility criteria for the candidates to take admission in this course is that they must have scored at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

This program is designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields. Candidates can also pursue MBA Pharmaceutical Management after this course, though they would need to complete their bachelor's first.
The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board. Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 10% relaxation in marks will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), differently-abled, and other categories.
