Both Pharmacy and Nursing have their own career opportunities. it depends on the skillset of a student and their interest in a particular field. Both fields gives you ample growth opportunities. The annual salary for both the courses ranges from 3-4 lakh per annum.

See both the fields are great and they cater services in different attributions. Nursing is a paramedical course and its a skill based course to serve the patients where as Pharma is a knowledge based course where you will be solely responsible for the production, design and management of pharmaceutical drugs. Now if you look at the statistics, then the income of a Nurse is greater compared to that of the average earning in pharmacy. Apart from this many B.Pharm graduates aren't getting core jobs and they are just joining companies as medical representatives. So the core field jobs are much much greater in Nursing compared to that of Pharmacy.

Now its your choice and interest, you should choose the field. Both the fields have amazing career ahead.

Hello aspirant,

Both of the above mentioned courses are considered as good for future. Pharmacy basically deals with the study of preparation of drugs, while nursing is more about caring and patient treatment etc. Both the fields offer equal career opportunities for the students

However, I think you must go with Pharmacy as a carrer in future, If you want to go for more deep research and knowledgeable fields. Nursing provides more diverse career opportunities, but a career in pharmacy pays more. Also as Bsc nursing is an undergraduate degree ( 4 years) it has more value than d pharma which is a diploma (2 years ).

Further, Pharmacists can earn good salaries and the hours are often very flexible . It is also a profession which carries with it a relatively high status and pharmacist are seen and respected as medical professionals. Beginning on a new career path is exciting.

Average salary for a Pharmacist in India is 2.2 Lakhs per year (18.3k per month). Salary estimates are based on 7084 salaries received from various Pharmacists across industries.

I hope that this will help.
