Yes, government and several NGOs do provide scholarships to candidates who are financially weak.
Generally, if following conditions are satisfied, the scholarships are given:
- If the income of the family is below taxation. It means no income tax sections are applied to any of the family member.
- None of the family member is government job employed.
I suggest you to check the official for all eligibility criteria. If any of the criteria is not satisfied, you are not eligible for the scholarship.
There is an another option available called "Loans".The loans in the form of money is provided by keeping some essential asset (equivalent or of higher value than loan amount) from the person. If person pays off the loan, the asset is returned, otherwise, it is sanctioned by the party for loan cover.
