- According to placement trends CS/IT seems to be ahead of Electronics and telecommunications, although they both has their specific importance.

- It may differ with college as some colleges provide only electronics and telecommunication engineering only, here we can't compare as only course is i n the curriculum.

- People choose electronic and telecommunications, but the fact is CS packages is found to be the most out of the other streams.

For Example NIT Suratkhal placement stats were as follows:

CS : 9.8 L/a

EC : 7.7L/a

IT :7.1L/a

- According the above data it seems CS more preferable.

- But again as I said it may differ with colleges.
