Since you've not specified any college it is difficult to answer your question accurately. Also, as per the hostel facility, almost all colleges provide this facility however not all. So, you need to be specific as to which college you're referring.

In general, placement scenario for CSE students looks very lucrative and as a matter of fact, it is. Although for on-campus placements in CSE, a lot mater on the college, however, if you're  a CSE graduate with required skillset, you will have tons of off-campus opportunities. If I talk in numbers the placement package usually varies from 3 LPA to 35 LPA, based on your skillset.
