Dear Aspirant !
Hope you are doing well !!
Animal cells do not consist of the cell wall and chloroplast and that mainly differentiates them from the plant cells. The primary distinction between animal and plant cells is that animal cells cannot produce their own nutrition .
Also Animal cells have centrioles, centrosomes (discussed under the cytoskeleton), and lysosomes, whereas plant cells do not . Plant cells have a cell wall, chloroplasts, plasmodesmata, and plastids used for storage, and a large central vacuole, whereas animal cells do not.
These are a few differences between animal and plant cell.
Hope it helps you !
Thanking you !!
Hello
Here's the main differences between plant cells and animal cells :
1. Cell Wall : Plant cells have a cell wall made of cellulose , animal cells do not .
2. Shape : Plant cells are rectangular , while animal cells are irregular or round .
3. Chloroplasts : Present in plant cells for photosynthesis , absent in animal cells .
4. Vacuoles : Large central vacuole in plant cells , small and multiple in animal cells .
5. Centrioles : Absent in plant cells present in animal cells .
6. Plastids : Present in plant cells , absent in animal cells .
7. Lysosomes : Rare in plant cells , common in animal cells .
8. Cilia or Flagella : Usually absent in plant cells , may be present in animal cells .
9. Energy Storage : Plant cells store starch , animal cells store glycogen .

Hello,
Here are the important differences between plant and animal cells:
Cell Wall:
Shape:
Chloroplasts :
Vacuoles:
Centrioles:
Energy Storage:
Plasmodesmata:
Lysosomes:
These differences actually reflect their unique roles in organisms. Plant cells are specialized for photosynthesis and structural support, while animal cells are flexible and specialized in their own functions.
