Hello,

For the nift councelling process all the qualified candidates are called on the basis of their common merit rank.even, all the candidates falling in the reserved category are also called on the basis of their common merit rank but it is not necessary for them to appear for the councelling on the basis of their common merit rank.they can appear for their councelling on the basis of their category merit rank.

Every nift centre has some seats for the reserved category ,they can easily opt for such seats.

Hope this helps

Good luck
