It seems that you are interested to pursue your Graduation in software domain.

Let me tell you that there are two streams of software domain when it comes to engineering.

• Computer Science Engineering
• Information Technology.

Besides these, ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) is a mixed stuff of software and hardware.This is also the most soughted course after intermediate.

• So first of all,I suggest you to decide among the above courses to be pursued.
• To seek admission in B.Tech candidate should have minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2.
• Aspirants should have completed 12th in science stream or equivalent from a recognized board for admission at Dharmsinh Desai University.

Now let me tell you the admission process of Dharmsinh Desai University :

There are 3 different ways to secure an admission into it

• 1)written test:

It is basically the college entrance test and based upon this,you will be given seat as per      your merit.The candidate checks the admission notification of the University from the official website for admission in the particular courses.Once the notification is out the candidate downloads the application form and submits the filled form along with the application fees. The application should be submitted along with the attested copies of the certificates specified in the notification.The candidate appears for the Entrance Test and waits for the results.Once the results are out, the merit list is prepared and the subsequent selection procedure through counseling is being done in due date.Once the candidate has been selected he/she will be informed about the selection through a merit list or a call letter.The selected candidates need to be present in the counselling process as scheduled on the date of counselling and if the candidate is absent for counselling process ,the candidate is given a chance in the next round.

• 2)Direct admission:

If a student is capable enough to afford the fee structure of the university,he/she can directly get an admission in the university following some university procedures.It is otherwise called Management Quota.

• 3)NRI quota:

Here if a student has given JEE Mains,then he/she can make efficient use of this opportunity.Based upon the marks you score in MAINS exam i.e higher is the marks higher is the chances of securing a seat in it.

The university may conduct an entrance examination to the B.Tech. course, which includes subject matter taught at the +2 level. The merit list is released based on performance in this test as well as analysis of past academic performance. Cut off marks may be predetermined.

In order to complete the admission procedure, candidates must ensure that the following is adhered to.

• Candidates must be physically present for the admission and counseling on the date stipulated by the university, failing which the seat will be offered to the next highest merit on the list.
• All required documents must be produced for verification to ensure eligibility of the candidate.
• The candidate must pay the required fee amount in full for admission to be considered successful.
