Hi Sathwik!

Virtual Vacancy is when you decide to go with round 2 of a counselling even though you were placed in round 1. For example, you got placed in a college in round 1 and joined, but still you want to opt a better college. So, you go for round 2 of the counselling! This is Virtual Vacancy.

Hello,

The virtual vacant seat in medical colleges are the seats alloted to 1st round students of counselling, but those students want upgradation for 2nd round, so if in second round of counselling they get an upgraded or better seat, then they got a virtual vacancy seat, so the seat they got in first round will get vacant and the other candidate will get that seat.
