please explain me briefly general rank vs sc rank with marks vs percentile in jee advance.approx

Hello aspirant

Hope you are doing great there. See , first of all the your rank is calculated on the basis of your percentile score obtained in your exam . This percentile score very much depends on varies factors like level of difficulty of your shift . Let me explain you with the help of an example . let us assume that a student of general category have scored 200 marks out of 300 in his /her exam . Considering the level of difficulty of the exam to be moderate , his percentile score will be somewhere around 99.5 - 99.58 and his rank crl rank will lie somewhere around 5115 - 5750 . While in case of an sc category student the percentile will remain same , his CRL rank will also be same  but the category rank will be somewhere around 284 - 320 .
