ICAR's JRF is an All India basis examination for admission to Master Degree Programmes in different Central, State and Deemed Agricultural Universities. AICE-JRF is conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. Candidates can fill application form online for ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF(PGS)-2019 between 1 April -30 April 2019 on the website www.ntaicar.nic.in.

Minimum age limit is 20 years.

Application Fee:- For General/Unreserved, Other Backward Classes (OBC)-(NCL) & UPS/ EWS is Rs. 1700/- and

For SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender is Rs. 850/-

Scope:- There are many government jobs in agriculture but ICAR doesn't guarantee you to give a government job. There are less number of vacancies in government sector and also v acancies arise mostly due to retirement. One can become agriculture field officer, food inspector, quantity endurance officer. After masters you can go for ARS or NET. There are lot of opportunities in dairy cooperative for diary technologist and in food technology.
